Dr Kathleen Richardson

Senior Research Fellow in the Ethics of Robotics at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. She completed her PhD at the Department of Anthropology, University of Cambridge. Kathleen’s fieldwork was an investigation of the making of robots in labs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2015 she, along with her colleague launched the Campaign Against Sex Robots to draw attention to problematic effects on new technologies on human relations, and their potential impact to create new layers of inequalities between men and women and adults and children.

Dr Heather Brunskell-Evans 

Social theorist and philosopher in feminist philosophy and politics of the body. She is the leader of the research strand ‘Perfect and Imperfect Bodies’. She has previously taught on the MSc in Gender, Media and Culture at The London School of Economics, and the MA in Gender, Media and Culture at Goldsmiths College. She currently researches the relationship between medicine and the gendering of male and female bodies, and is developing a research base for PhD scholarship on sexology, the body and pornography. Heather is also a founder member of 'Resist Porn Culture' (RPC), a UK organisation dedicated to resisting the pornography industry, the pornification of culture, challenges sexual violence and sexual objectification of women and girls in popular media, and the gendered, racist and economic oppression inherent in the sex industry..

Tom Ross-Williams 

Performer, theatre-maker and the artistic director of Populace - a theatre company of politics and optimism. He writes about gender and sexuality for publications including Attitude and Huffington Post and was a panellist at the Southbank Centre's Being A Man Festival. He is an ambassador for Great Men, a changemaker with the Advocacy Academy and regularly runs

Rikki Arundel 

Her previous career in financial services technology came to an abrupt end as a result of her decision to change gender in 2002. Faced with considerable discrimination she completed a master’s degree in Gender Research at Hull University and established herself as a diversity expert and raises awareness of gender equality, unconscious bias and particularly transgender issues. She has developed a reputation for engaging audiences through her use of entertaining and inspiring stories.
